Paul Saunders, BHA Director of Finance and BHMG Treasurer, passed away late on Friday night, 17 February 2017.
The Brisbane Hockey Association wishes to express its condolences to the Paul's family and friends. Paul will be missed by many!

"Paul was on the board of Brisbane Hockey Association (BHA) for more than 15 years, including being the longest serving Director of Finance/Treasurer in the association's 85-year history, holding the position for 12 years. He also held roles such as BHA Director of Promotions and Marketing, which included the implementation of TV coverage for Brisbane hockey, and was inaugural Treasurer of the Brisbane Hockey Management Group, which oversees the Burringbar Park hockey facility.
Paul was involved in running BHA awards nights and Queensland State Championships and held roles at Hockey Queensland. Paul Saunders was granted Life Member status for Brisbane Hockey Association in 2011 and is a Life Member of Valley Hockey Club, where he also served as the club's Division 1 men's team manager for several years."
Funeral details: 2pm on Friday 24th February at St. Anne's Church, Nelson Road, Kalinga.

BHMG
The Brisbane Hockey Management Group Inc (BHMG) is an initiative of the Brisbane Hockey Association Inc (BHA), the Brisbane Women's Hockey Association Inc (BWHA) and Kedron Wavell Services Hockey Club Inc (KWS) to jointly manage the Brisbane North Hockey Centre (Burringbar Park) facility at Chermside.
